Care at Home named FY22 Initiative of the Year

Last month, the U-M Health leadership team announced the enterprisewide FY22 Strategic Priorities, which include “Building our BASE” and strategic growth. These priorities are accompanied by specific initiatives that support belonging, access, safety and quality, experience, and strategic growth. Now the team, under the leadership of U-M Health President David Miller, M.D, has determined that the FY22 Initiative of the Year will be Care at Home. After witnessing “the unyielding resiliency and resolve of our Michigan Medicine teams,” U-M Health President David Miller, M.D, has high expectations for what can be achieved in FY22, especially if everyone works toward a shared purpose. That’s why he has introduced a framework for a set of strategic priorities called Building our BASE.
