Learn about using Lean methodologies in patient education

All health system clinicians and staff are invited to attend the next Patient Education ForUM. The event will feature presentations focused on designing health information technologies to fit the needs of marginalized groups and using Lean methodologies to redesign cardiac surgery patient education. The forum will take place on Wednesday Sept. 14, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rachel Upjohn Building Auditorium on the east medical campus. The rollout of Microsoft Office 2016 to UMHS CoreImage devices will begin just after Labor Day and continue through Sept. 16. In preparation for the upgrade of the Outlook application, there will be some enhancements to Outlook Web Access or “OWA.” As a result, there will be a new look to OWA effective Thursday, Sept. 1.
