“Help Me Now” centers to close for holidays

Please be advised that all three Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) “Help Me Now” walk-in centers will close for the upcoming holidays. Here is the holiday schedule: Thanksgiving: Help Me Now locations will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, and reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27. MIP Scholars Award now accepting applications

The U-M Depression Center is requesting proposals for the 2018 Michigan Mental Health Integration Partnership (MIP) Scholars program.The purpose of this program is to support U-M faculty who are interested in implementing and evaluating mental health services or clinical interventions that promote integrated care and seek to improve access to evidence-based practices for lower income and Medicaid-eligible populations with behavioral health care needs in the state of Michigan. Funding available is $50,000 with the intent to match 1:1,  for a total award of $100,000. The application deadline is Dec. 22. The Edward Mallinckrodt, Jr. Foundation's Mallinckrodt Scholar Program supports early-stage investigators engaged in biomedical research that has the potential to significantly advance the understanding, diagnosis or treatment of disease.The Scholar Award will provide $100,000 annually for a maximum of four years.
