Shine a Light: Recognize a colleague who is making a difference
The Michigan Medicine Spirituality Resource Group (SRG) is a voluntary, member-led group that discusses the role spirituality plays in everyday work at Michigan Medicine. The group provides a mechanism for feedback to leadership on how to foster inclusion and collaboration in the context of spirituality. The SRG is taking this opportunity to promote the Michigan Medicine Recognition Site which provides different ways to recognize colleagues who inspire and make a difference through their dedication, hard work and caring. #HailtotheFrontLine: Michigan Marching Band salutes front-line heroes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vryW0mzDyXc Last Saturday, the Michigan Marching Band released its first-ever virtual show, dedicated to front-line heroes such as the faculty and staff at Michigan Medicine. The show included performances of hits like The Beatles’ “Help!” and Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” In between musical selections, the video featured personalized thank you messages from band members to front-line health and service workers who have continued to provide relief during the pandemic.
