Next U-M Medical School faculty meeting is Oct. 7

The U-M Medical School will host a faculty meeting from noon-1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7. The meeting will convene virtually via Zoom using the following link and passcode: https://umich.zoom.us/j/93411655599?pwd=NXluNE9pSXlOV05ZbGVrV0VWcjZNdz09Passcode: 089662 Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Laurie K. McCauley, D.D.S., M.S., Ph.D., will attend the meeting. She will present university faculty-related updates for 10-15 minutes, and then answer questions from faculty.

Join the Michigan Medicine Alumni Society in celebrating the accomplishments of U-M Medical School alumni and faculty! Michigan Medicine faculty, staff and friends are invited to the Alumni Society’s Distinguished Awards Ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the A. Alfred Taubman Biomedical Science Research Building. The awards recognize former U-M medical and doctoral students, residents and fellows, as well as current and past faculty members who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service in their careers. Sepsis Awareness Month quiz answers and winners!

To wrap up Sepsis Awareness Month, Headlines asked readers to take a brief quiz to test their knowledge of Sepsis.
