U-M Health earns another ‘A’ for patient safety

Congratulations to U-M Health, which once again earned an ‘A’ grade for patient safety from the Leapfrog Group.

Leapfrog is an independent organization that evaluates the quality and safety of health systems across the U.S.

Grades are calculated twice a year based on a hospital’s prevention of medical errors and harm to patients, including problems with surgery, infections and other important areas. 

Since the grading system debuted more than a decade ago, U-M Health has earned an ‘A’ grade each time.
