Three-peat performers: 5D lauded with three 365 Days of Safety Awards

Congratulations to the team on 5D, which earned recognition recently for going a full year without three hospital-acquired conditions. 

5D went a full year without: a CLABSI (Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infection), patient fall or C-Diff (Clostridioides difficile or C. difficile).

The 365 Days of Safety Award recognizes outstanding practice within a patient care unit, area, clinic or department which resulted in the avoidance of patient harm and health care-acquired conditions for 365 consecutive days. The award also demonstrates the sustainability of the associated patient safety practice.
