Michigan Silversmiths Guild puts items on display at Michigan Medicine

Founded in 1948, the Michigan Silversmiths Guild is a community of craftspersons dedicated to the fields of metalsmithing and jewelry.
The guild serves to support the advancement of its members by hosting workshops, sponsoring lectures and awarding scholarships to students in metalsmithing programs across the region. The work made by guild members reflects the broadness of the fields of metalsmithing and jewelry, and includes wearable forms, objects of utility, and sculptural compositions.
A current exhibition at University Hospital celebrates the uniqueness of guild members and the solidarity of community.
