Happy Hospital Week!

May 7-13 marks National Hospital Week, an opportunity for us to thank the caregivers who keep our communities, patients and families healthy. Michigan Medicine is also honoring our nursing staff this entire month, which is Nurses Month, and May 6-12, which is Nurses Week.

Hospital Week gives us the chance to recognize the staff who are often behind the scenes, but who play vital roles in our success.

From our Environmental Services colleagues to our Unit for Lab Animal Medicine to the Patient Food and Nutrition Services team, each member of the Michigan Medicine family ensures that we are advancing health to serve Michigan and the world. 

Additionally, members of our internal human resources team and Health Information Technology & Services, as well as countless administrative partners and clerical staff, help keep our operations running smoothly so that we can focus on what is most critical. 

This Hospital Week, we thank you for striving for excellence and integrity in your work each day. In doing so, you encourage others and inspire them to give their all, too.
