U-M Medical School to host next staff forum on May 8

The U-M Medical School will host its next staff forum from 3-4 p.m. on Monday, May 8.

Interested medical school staff, as well as those from Shared Services, can convene on Zoom with passcode 398123.

On May 8, a series of panelists will:

• Discuss the Michigan Medicine financial outlook and how it affects the medical school.
• Highlight the Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM).
• Update various medical school facilities projects — including the upcoming renovation of the B&D wings of Medical Science Building I that will affect passage through certain areas of the school.
• Review recent sustainability efforts and the work of the Medical School Carbon Neutrality Council.

Upon conclusion of the panel presentations, leadership will answer questions solicited prior to the session, and also conduct a live Q&A.
