Plan ahead: Parking structure construction repairs beginning this spring
Please be advised that several parking options on campus will be affected by major repairs and updates over the spring, summer and early fall seasons.
While we understand the inconvenience this may cause, your patience is appreciated as the organization strives to keep parking safe for all our parkers.
Here are the locations that are scheduled to begin work:
P1 (Rogel Cancer Center)
Start date: April 10 (weather dependent)
End date: Late August 2023
Alternative parking options: Ann, Catherine, Glen or Wall Street structures
Please note, there may be a noticeable odor during some of the work (weekend of deck coating). The odor is non-toxic and will only be noticeable when it’s applied and for 24 hours afterward.
P4 (Mott)
Start date: April 24
End date: September 2023
Alternative parking options: Wall Street East/Wall Street West structures (with shuttle) and EMC shuttle frequency
To support patients and their families, 120 Blue spaces in P4 (starting on level 4) will be converted to valet. Valet operations will utilize the faculty/staff entrance.
M52
Start date: April 24

P5 (CVC)
Start date: April 10
End date: September 2023
Alternative parking options: Gold parkers can move to P4
– During part of the process, the entrance off of the circle drive will be closed. All parkers must use the entrance off E. Hospital Drive (near UH South). This will be closed on the weekend (Friday night, Saturday and Sunday). Gates will be open and flaggers on site to assist parkers.
– Gold parkers will need to enter/exit off of E. Hospital Drive for that weekend

N26 (Palmer)
Start date: April 10
End date: September 2023
Alternative parking options: Blue parkers can use Thayer. Visitor parking is on-street parking or City of Ann Arbor visitor parking structure.
NC100 (NCRC)
Start date: April 10
End date: September 2023
Alternative parking options: VA parkers can utilize the lower levels in the NC100 structure.
