Description
This course will benefit pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, physical medicine and rehabilitation clinicians, physicians-in-training, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, and registered dieticians who care for patients on home mechanical ventilation. Patients on home mechanical ventilation and their family members are also encouraged to attend.
Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to, Management of Neuromuscular Disease, Non-Invasive
Ventilation Modes and Devices, Evaluation of Diaphragm Disorders, and Adaptive Technologies for
Outdoor Recreation. This course has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, ABIM MOC credit and CRCE
hours.
