Michigan Medicine named among world’s best hospitals by Newsweek
Congratulations to Michigan Medicine, which has once again been named one of the world’s best hospitals by Newsweek and Statista!
The 2023 World’s Best Hospitals list looked at data from more than 2,300 hospitals in 28 countries.
A rigorous methodology was then utilized to ensure the quality and validity of the ranking. Four data sources were used for the evaluation:
- Hospital Recommendations from Medical Experts: an international online survey that included more than 80,000 doctors, hospital managers and health care professionals
- Patient Experience: surveys measuring patient satisfaction with hospitals
- Hospital Quality Metrics: data on quality of care for treatments, hygiene measures, patient safety and staffing
- PROMs Implementation: online survey on implementation and use of PROMs in hospitals
This year’s list puts Michigan Medicine in incredible company, and once again names the organization the top health care destination in Michigan.
