To celebrate National Reading Month and promote the importance of reading and literacy, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital is wrapping up a book drive this week.
You can support the Little Victors in Mott with the gift of new books.
The Giving Library, a book and reading program within Mott, supports inpatients and their families by providing a distraction for patients, as well as promoting literacy and language development by encouraging important reader-child relationships.
You can support the Giving Library by:
- Making a monetary contribution here.
- Purchasing books from our Amazon Wish List here.
- Hosting a book drive! You can bring your donation into the hospital anytime 24/7 and leave it in the blue cart next to our welcome desk in the Mott lobby. If your donation is large, we can work together to schedule a curbside drop-off where one of our staff can meet you curbside at the main entrance to accept your donation Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. To schedule a curbside drop-off, please email mottcommunityrelations@med.umich.edu.
While March is National Reading Month, book donations and monetary contributions are needed and greatly appreciated all year long!
