See you at DEI 2.0 Kick Off Days!
The Office for Health Equity and Inclusion (OHEI) is excited to announce the launch of DEI 2.0 Kick Off Days, which will be held this week, Feb. 27-March 3!
OHEI team members will be out and about at dozens of locations around Michigan Medicine and satellite locations to encourage questionnaire completion, and to thank the community for engaging as we set our priorities to shape DEI for the next five years.
During the week, OHEI will promote a five-minute priorities questionnaire, greet employees and hand out snacks to show their appreciation. Participants can enter into a drawing for one of many $25 Amazon gift cards to be distributed electronically at the end of the collection phase.
To date, more than 3,000 members of the Michigan Medicine community have completed the questionnaire, but OHEI wants to reach as many people as possible to ensure proper representation.
To help get the word out, OHEI staff will be joined by Michigan Medicine leadership, DEI leads and DEI drivers from across the campus. The team will also be cheering the importance of this Michigan Medicine- and university-wide effort to move DEI forward together for everyone.
The Michigan Medicine five-year Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategic Plan (DEI 2.0) will launch in October 2023. Your priorities will be shared with the entire community in April before they will be incorporated into the Michigan Medicine DEI Strategic Plan.
