Reminder: Women in Academic Medicine event to be held this afternoon

Don’t forget, Michigan Medicine will host a Women in Academic Medicine celebration to coincide with National Women Physicians Day this afternoon. As part of this event, there will be a plenary talk featuring Reshma Jagsi, M.D., D.Phil., a panel discussion and an award presentation. 

The award will honor one of our organization’s most-distinguished leaders and former neurosurgery chair, Karin Muraszko, M.D.

The events will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the D. Dan and Betty Kahn Auditorium of the A. Alfred Taubman Biomedical Science Research Building, with a reception to follow in the Gilbert S. Omenn Atrium from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
