Free Gifts of Art concert to range from Irish to Swing
Big Fun has been playing contra dances around the Midwest since 2012, ranging from Toronto to Columbus and many points in between.
Members of the trio are Marty Somberg, one of the best Irish fiddlers around who hosts weekly jam sessions at a local pub; Brad Battey, one of the region’s most sought-after contra fiddlers; and guitar and harmonica player Myron Grant.
On Thursday at University Hospital, they will play a range of fiddle tunes, from Irish to Old Time, and may include a swing song or two.
