Blue goes green: Show your support for the Spartans

One week ago today, colleagues, friends and loved ones from Michigan State University experienced a tragedy that will forever change their lives. Throughout last week, individuals and teams across Michigan Medicine showed support for the Spartan community in a number of meaningful ways.

This Wednesday, Feb. 22, all members of the Michigan Medicine community are invited to join together to show support for those impacted by last week’s event, at MSU, Sparrow, and the East Lansing and Lansing communities.

Faculty, staff and learners are invited to wear MSU or other green and white apparel and accessories on Wednesday, Feb. 22. In addition to donning green and white, Zoom backgrounds showing Spartan Strong support can be found here and here (right click on each image to save to your computer). 

Together in this effort, supporters across Michigan Medicine can honor the students whose lives were lost and send strength to those recovering from their injuries, as well as Sparrow Health System colleagues who are caring for them.
