University Hospital 4C celebrates Gold Beacon Award
Congratulations to the 4C Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery step-down unit at University Hospital! This impressive team earned a Gold Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, becoming one of only 168 units nationwide to currently hold the honor. Rana Awdish, M.D., has quite the story to tell. After a life-threatening experience during her fellowship, she has devoted her medical career to emphasizing empathetic, coordinated career.
