Reminder about winter weather preparations

With snow in the forecast for Wednesday, followed by what looks like 3 or 4 more storms lining up within the next week, it is important to be reminded of winter weather preparations on campus.

The night before a snow event, Logistics, Transportation and Parking will barricade spaces in the corners of parking structure rooftops. These areas allow the crews to push the snow when the rooftops are full of cars, enabling traffic to continue to flow.

After the snow has stopped, crews begin removing the snow piles. Please remember not to move the barricades on the rooftops.
