Michigan Medicine Community Health Services funding opportunity

Applications for the Michigan Medicine Community Health Services (MM-CHS) grants are now open. CHS is looking for projects that influence the Community Health Needs Assessment priorities:

  • Mental health and substance use disorders
  • Obesity and related illnesses
  • Pre-conceptual and perinatal health (including infant and maternal mortality).

Projects must focus on innovation and/or strengthen programs, policies and other interventions within Washtenaw County that address health equity and the social determinants of health (SDOH).   

This is the second funding cycle for CHS.

You can apply if you are faculty, staff or students at U-M or Michigan Medicine, or a Washtenaw County community-based 501(c)(3) organization.

The application is open until Jan. 20, 2023. Projects will begin Summer 2023.
