Take 5 to Focus is back

Do you want to stress less, have more focus and generally feel better? Try practicing daily mindfulness and see if it’s right for you.

A simple way to start is by signing up for Take 5 to Focus, a well-being program available on the MHealthy Portal. It encourages you to take short breaks by watching mindfulness or meditation videos.

“Making space for rest and calm, even for a few minutes, is good for you,” said Kelcey Stratton, resiliency and well-being services program manager at Michigan Medicine. “This program offers a simple yet structured way to help you pause, refresh, and refocus.”

Registration is now open for the new session of Take 5 to Focus (available to benefits-eligible faculty and staff). To take part, sign up and watch one short video (about 5 minutes) each day for four weeks. The program is available from Nov. 14 through Dec. 11.

The MHealthy portal tracks your progress, so all you need to do is focus on your practice of mindfulness.
