Not just email: Be wary of Duo push phishing attempts
Be especially aware of any Duo Push notifications that may come unexpectedly! Do not accept these. Push the “Deny” button and report to HITS immediately.
This is a phishing tactic cybercriminals are using to easily access sensitive data and systems.
If you have received an unsolicited Duo Push (i.e., you did not log into/initiate a Duo request), your credentials may have already been compromised.
Contact the HITS Service Desk at 6-8000 for assistance.
Remember! Be vigilant; always double-check notifications and alerts.
If you did not initiate a Multi-Factor/Two-Factor authentication, do not just accept it.
If you suspect cybercriminal activity, contact the HITS Service Desk at 6-8000.
