Looking ahead with U-M Health President David Miller, M.D., M.P.H.

October 25, 2022  //  FOUND IN: Strategy & Leadership,

Last year, U-M Health President David Miller, M.D., introduced a framework for strategic priorities — commonly known as BASE + Strategic Growth and Partnerships.

BASE — which stands for Belonging, Access, Safety and quality and Experience — serves as a guidepost for strategic decision making, as well as day-to-day work operations.

With BASE in mind, Miller is now looking to the future, introducing a three-year outlook for the organization’s priorities and initiatives.

You can learn about those priorities, initiatives and focus areas on a special episode of The Wrap employee podcast.

On the show, Miller talks at length about where the organization is headed in FY23, FY24 and FY25, the current health care landscape across the state, and steps you can take to help the organization carry out its mission of advancing health to service Michigan and the world.
