One day in December 2011, over a period of just eight hours and four minutes, 168 children and women patients of U-M Health were moved from older care facilities at U-M into the new, state-of-the-art C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital.

This day marked not only a transformational moment in medicine at U-M, it was the culmination of a long history of visionary ideas and groundbreaking achievements in children’s and women’s care.

On Saturday, Nov. 5, our Milestones, Memories, and Momentum event — presented by MST Steel Corporation — will celebrate more than 10 years of life-changing care at the new C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital facilities. The event will also recognize the many inspiring accomplishments and dedicated people who built the women’s and children’s programs into the leaders and best.

The evening will feature dinner, music, a live auction and so much more, all inside the Jack Roth Stadium Club at Michigan Stadium. A select number of tickets and sponsorships are still available at victors.us/milestones.

By visiting the event website, you can also make a donation and buy limited edition hats, T-shirts and other gear. Or you can support the new Little Victors Wagon program, which gives young patients and their families a fun way to get around the hospital and also supports areas of greatest need at Mott.

This exciting bash at the Big House will bring together physicians, nurses, specialists, supporters, faculty, friends and patients who have helped to bring incredible hope and healing to women, children and families all over the world.

There will be a look back at U-M’s wondrous history of driving innovation, knowledge and revolutionary ideas in medicine. And a look forward to an even brighter future as team members support advances in research and care that will improve the lives of children and women everywhere.

Event proceeds will help continue to reimagine the hospital experience to ensure that each Mott patient has access to activities and support that can make their care journey more uplifting. The event will also benefit promising research in women’s and children’s health.
