Week in Review: Researchpalooza, student move-in — and more!

This week, Headlines celebrated the return of Researchpalooza (held for the first time since the pandemic began) and the return of students — as student move-in 2022 begins in earnest next Wednesday.

There was also important information meant to keep you safe from tech scams, and faculty and staff learned about grants aimed at promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization.

Facts and fun at Researchpalooza 2022

Last Wednesday, more than 50 different offices and labs mingled with team members from across Michigan Medicine to celebrate biomedical research! The annual Researchpalooza celebration — which had been on hiatus since 2019 — was a huge success. Check out photos from the event and see which faculty and staff took home prizes from the festivities.  

Plan ahead: Student move-in coming next week

From Aug. 24 until Aug. 28, thousands of undergraduates will be returning to Ann Arbor for the beginning of fall semester. Student move-in 2022 will bring with it a number of parking and traffic changes, so be sure to click here to see how you may be impacted.

It’s easy to fall victim to tech support scams! That’s why it’s important to stay vigilant and wary at all times. For instance, you should always be the one to initiate contact with IT support staff. If someone reaches out to you, it may be a scam. Learn other tips and resources here.
