Welcome to the 2022 Michigan Medicine Virtual Art Fair!

Every day at Michigan Medicine, you get to see just how talented your colleagues are in the classroom, lab, clinic or office.
But so many faculty and staff are talented and creative away from work as well — and they are showing off their skills in the third annual Michigan Medicine Virtual Art Fair!
Held alongside the Ann Arbor Art Fairs, which begin today downtown, the Headlines virtual art fair displays paintings, photography, jewelry, ceramics, music and much, much more. And the art has all been created by employees or learners at Michigan Medicine.
For instance, research communicator Tamara Havermahl has transformed an extra-large mailbox into a cityscape reflecting historic Chelsea, Michigan.
And administrative assistant Gretchen O’Hair shared a self-portrait called Untamed that represents “the identity and symbolism of hidden strength and beauty portrayed by the untouched nature of the lion — encouraging the viewer to trust the courage that blossoms within oneself.”
Over the next few minutes, take the time to peruse dozens of pieces of art. All you have to do is click on the categories below to see some of the fantastic creations submitted by Michigan Medicine faculty and staff!
From the Headlines team, thank you to the talented artists who submitted their work and Happy Art Fair Week!
