Nursing negotiations update

Michigan Medicine has been in negotiations with representatives from MNA/UMPNC for the past several months, working to reach a new collective bargaining agreement for our nurses. The current contract expired on Thursday, June 30, and unfortunately, the two teams have been unable to reach a new agreement thus far.

Michigan Medicine values the incredible work of our nurses and all our team members and is committed to negotiating in good faith until an agreement is reached.

The negotiating team will continue meeting with MNA/UMPNC to review proposals and working toward a tentative agreement.
