Irish to Swing concert by Big Fun on tap in UH Courtyard

Big Fun has been playing contra dances around the Midwest since 2012, ranging from Toronto to Columbus and many points in between.
Members of the trio are Marty Somberg, one of the best fiddlers around who hosts Irish music sessions; Brad Battey, one of the region’s most sought-after contra fiddlers; and guitar and harmonica player Myron Grant.
In a free concert at Michigan Medicine, they will play a range of fiddle tunes, from Irish to Old Time, and may include a swing or Texas swing song or two.
