FY23 merit program

July 28, 2022  //  FOUND IN: Our Employees

The past fiscal year, July 2021 – June 2022, has posed many challenges, in both the economic and social environments. Throughout all of this, Michigan Medicine has continued to deliver excellent health care, educate future health care leaders and conduct pivotal research. This has only been possible because of your daily contributions, your ongoing commitment and dedication. Thank you deeply for your service to Michigan Medicine on behalf of patients, learners and our communities.

To share appreciation and gratitude for your efforts, the organization is enhancing the merit program for staff and faculty. Please note, this information outlines the merit program for eligible, non-bargained for, non-faculty employees. Next week, the program for faculty is expected to be announced.

Michigan Medicine’s typical merit program is 3%. For FY23, the merit program is increasing to 4.5%. Another change for this year only is that the 4.5% will be given to all eligible employees with an evaluation that meets or exceeds expectations.

In the coming days, Human Resources will provide additional details on this year’s merit program, eligibility and when the pay increases will be effective.

Everyone has done an excellent job of contributing to our mission — even in uncertain times — and that is deeply appreciated. Thank you for all you do for Michigan Medicine and those we serve.
