This year’s Ann Arbor Art Fairs are scheduled to take place between Thursday, July 21 and Saturday, July 23.

The event is expected to cause parking and transportation changes around Ann Arbor, including on the U-M campus.

Here’s what you need to know:

U-M parking

During the show, all U-M parking structures will remain gated to allow only vehicles with appropriate U-M permits to enter.

After 9 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, and after 8 a.m. on Saturday, special event parking will also be sold (cost is $11) at structures where adequate vacancies are available. These locations include:

  • Thompson, Thayer and Fletcher structures: After 9 a.m. Thursday and Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday
  • Church and Hill structures: After 8 a.m. Saturday

Lots C5 (libraries) and C10 (small lot by West Hall) will not be available for parking.

U-M transportation

Effective July 18 through the end of service on July 23, the Commuter North and Commuter South routes will be on detour.

Regular service will resume on July 25.

Please see the Transit Alerts for additional information.
