‘Living Glass’ artwork now on display

Marc VandenBerg is a native Michigander working in and around the Detroit area for the past 20 years. His focus and material of choice is hot glass, and his proficiency in furnace work and flameworking allows him to push scale both big and small.

VandenBerg loves the outdoors and his work is informed by a fascination with nature and the human condition.

His career includes managing the glass shop at The Henry Ford, working for several local Detroit studios as a contractor and his own studio practice. Currently, he can be found working out of the Wyandotte Art & Glass Center.

VandenBerg’s work is collected both nationally and internationally. And now, it is on display at Michigan Medicine:
