Gifts of Art to host free online viola and piano concert

Gifts of Art is hosting a free online concert for faculty and staff on May 10!
This program is saturated with fantasy and storytelling and features works by Vieuxtemps, Schumann and Bloch. All three solo viola works are underperformed but celebrated by many.
Samuel Koeppe is a graduate of U-M, performs as principal viola with the Lansing Symphony and is viola mentor for Detroit Symphony’s Civic Youth Ensembles. Taylor Flowers is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in collaborative piano at U-M with Martin Katz.
The concert will be streamed on the Michigan Medicine YouTube channel and LinkedIn page.
