Plan Ahead: Road Closures and Limited Valet Services

Zina Pitcher Place Lane Closure (May 2-2024)

Anticipated to begin on Monday, May 2, and last into 2024, the eastern, northbound lane of Zina Pitcher Place between East Ann and Catherine will be closed for work associated with The Pavillion at University of Michigan Health project. The adjacent sidewalk will also be closed during that duration.

West Medical Center Drive Road Closure (May 2-8)

Expected to begin on Monday, May 2, and anticipated to be finished by Sunday, May 8, West Medical Center Drive will be closed to through traffic for repaving between East Medical Center Drive and just beyond Medical Science Research Building II. Access to the P1 Parking Structure and the Loading Dock 6 will be maintained with flaggers; HOWEVER, only westbound traffic will be permitted. Vehicular detour signage will be posted in the field.  

Limited valet services

Valet services on U-M Health’s main medical campus in Ann Arbor are currently affected by the nationwide labor shortage. Valet is an essential service for many of our patients, and a number of steps are being taken to address this issue.  In the meantime, please encourage patients and visitors to self-park when possible.  Patients should plan their appointment arrival time to allow for possible delays. Additional information about parking on the main medical campus can be found at www.UofMHealth.org/parking.
