Plan ahead and expect delays: Upcoming road closures around Ann Arbor

Please be advised of special events around Ann Arbor that are expected to cause road closures in the coming days.

Plan ahead and expect delays and alert patients if they will be traveling in the area.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • From now until 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, the following streets are expected to be closed for the Fool Moon special event:
    • Main Street from William to Washington
    • Liberty Street from Ashley to Fourth Avenue
  • From 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, the following streets are scheduled to be closed for the Monroe Street Fair:
    • Monroe Street between Tappan and State Street
    • Tappan Street between Monroe and South University
    • Oakland from Monroe to Hill will allow local traffic only
  • On Sunday, April 3, from 4 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., the following streets are expected to be closed for the Ann Arbor Goddess 5K:
    • Main Street between Keech and Liberty
    • Liberty between Main and State
    • Hill Street between Greene and Division
    • Division between Hill and Hoover
    • Hoover between Division and Greene
    • Greene between Hill and Davis
    • Davis between Greene and Main
    • Keech between Greene and Main
  • From 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, the following streets are scheduled to be closed for the FestiFool Parade:
    • State Street from Madison to William
    • South University from Tappan to State
    • William and State streets to the Ann Arbor District Library will have a soft closure
