Make a plain pledge today

A few drop-in spots are still available during the virtual Plain Pledge event that will take place today, April 25, between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Log on at any time during this hour and make a pledge to use plain language instead of medical jargon.

The activity takes only 5-7 minutes, after which we will send you this cool pin to wear on your lapel, lanyard or nametag, and a certificate.

Please select a medical term you use often before logging on. During the activity, the PEHL team will help you find a plain-language alternative and create your certificate, which will be sent to you along with the pin via campus mail.

If you can’t make it today, consider joining on Wednesday, April 27 between 11 a.m. and noon. Log on to the same link.
