You’re invited: MLK Health Sciences book dialogue

All U-M health science students as well as biomedical, clinical and pharmaceutical research faculty, staff, fellows and students are invited to join the MLK Health Sciences Committee
for discussions on selected topics from Medical Apartheid: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black Americans from Colonial Times to the Present by Dr. Harriet Washington.
The committee will plan to discuss select chapters (8, 11, 13) that focus on clinical studies involving African American children as well as current studies involving citizens from African countries (epilogue).
There are two dates available for the virtual discussions:
- Tuesday, March 22 (4-5 p.m.)
- Monday, March 28 (noon-1 p.m.)
