Vital voices Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey Launches
The 2022 Vital Voices Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey officially launched this week to all eligible Michigan Medicine faculty, staff, and learners, including house officers. Formerly Conjoined Twins Thrive As Toddlers
Born conjoined, Sarabeth and Amelia spent the first 13 months of their lives attached from their chests to belly buttons, only knowing a world facing each other from morning until night and sharing every moment — from sleeping to being held — together. In August 2020, the girls underwent a complex, 11-hour separation surgery at Mott that involved multiple specialists, nurses and care team members. U-M Health recognized as a Magnet institution for second time
U-M Health’s nurses, led by Chief Nurse Executive Nancy May, D.N.P., AMB-BC, NEA-BC, FAAN, have now achieved Magnet redesignation for a second time. The prestigious Magnet distinction, awarded to less than 10% of U.S. hospitals, recognizes health care organizations for quality patient care and outcomes, nursing excellence and innovations in professional nursing practice.
