Systemic Racism: A Public Health Crisis

Thursday, March 24, 2022

12:00pm - 1:00pm

This workshop is open to faculty and staff.

In recent years, racism has become the international indictment of the United States. This accusation was initially coupled to the unjust treatment of people of color in the criminal justice system. However, the disproportionate number of COVID deaths experienced by historically marginalized populations prompted Dr. Fauci to pinpoint systematic racism as its cause. This workshop will explore how systematic racism impacts population health.
