Learned Optimism
This workshop will focus on the benefits of optimism, and strategies for increasing resilience and optimism in our lives. Optimism is one of the most important and well-studied protective factors in resilience. Deliberately cultivating an optimistic mindset can help individuals navigate stressors they encounter and increase overall well-being.
This workshop is hosted by the Office of Faculty Development but is open to all Michigan Medicine Faculty and Staff. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend this workshop or have questions about accessibility, please contact us at UMMS-Faculty-Development@med.umich.edu.
