Ambulatory care registered dietitian nutritionists can help you learn about nutrition through video visit classes

Are you aware of the benefits of including more plant-based foods in your diet?
Evidence shows that plant-based eating reduces risk of heart disease, cancer and diabetes — and can boost your immune system.
If you are interested in learning more about following a plant-based diet, Amber Spencley, a Michigan Medicine registered dietitian nutritionist and cardiology nutrition specialist, leads a video visit nutrition series on plant-based eating.

Beyond the plant-based eating series, ambulatory care RDNs offer 50+ video visit nutrition classes, meeting a wide range of interests and educational needs.
Classes are open to all patients and employees. Class size is limited to eight participants, so be sure to sign up early!
A nutrition visit with a registered dietitian nutritionist is a covered service for approximately 95% of patients. For those whose insurance may not cover the charge of a class, the out-of-pocket cost will be $14-$22.
Register for a class by calling 734-615-0444, no referral needed.
