Advancing Inclusive Leadership Group to host community conversation on March 14

March 4, 2022  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Community conversations are an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to come together to engage on meaningful ways to increase belonging at Michigan Medicine. The Office for Health Equity and Inclusion (OHEI) feels it is important to carve out space for dialogue, provide support for one another, promote self-care and share valuable resources. The sessions are designed for space to hear your voice and all are welcome!

Host: Advancing Inclusive Leadership Group (AIL)

AIL is hosting a community conversation to commemorate Women’s History Month. The goal for the community conversation is to bring awareness for AIL and to hear experiences of others. AIL’s purpose is to assist in the creation of more effective and diverse leadership that values a culture of inclusion. The group is co-chaired by Alfreda Rooks and Durga Singer, M.A., M.D.

Committee members are a mixture of both faculty and administrative staff.
