Anna is turning 7 and the Michigan Medicine facility dog would love to see all her friends to celebrate!

Take a break and join Anna as she will be giving out hugs during her “paw-ffice hours” in the Recharge Rooms this week. These special breaks are open to all faculty and staff.

Three such “paw-ffice hours” are scheduled for this week:

  • Monday, Feb. 21: 1:30-3:30 p.m., C&W 7-321
  • Wednesday, Feb. 23: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Med Inn C626
  • Thursday, Feb. 24: Noon – 2 p.m., CVC 5331A

The Recharge Rooms at Michigan Medicine are meant for peace, calm and rejuvenation. In these spaces, team members pause, offer compassion and kindness to themselves, cultivate quiet and stillness, practice presence, share in the moment with colleagues and honor their experiences.

The Recharge Rooms are open 24/7 for all faculty, staff and medical students to take moments for themselves.

Over the coming months, more programs for staff and faculty will be scheduled as additional opportunities to experience the benefit of the Recharge Rooms.
