The Michigan Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (MADRC), funded by the NIH/National Institute on Aging, is pleased to announce openings in its Early Career Investigator Mentorship Program in the MADRC Research Education Component (REC).

This program has two aims.

One, providing early career investigators entering the field of dementia research with a broad education about contemporary dementia research. Two, providing early career investigators with mentoring by experienced investigators in developing competitive grant applications.

Early career investigators from underrepresented groups in STEM are encouraged to apply.

As we seek to understand and cure Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD), the MADRC considers among its highest priorities to support the career development of junior investigators who are committed to dementia-related research.

Applications should be submitted through the U-M Medical School Office of Research Competition Space portal: https://umms.infoready4.com/#competitionDetail/1863635.

The deadline is March 31 at 5 p.m.
