Michigan Medicine is requesting applications for The COVID-19 Fund to Retain Clinical Scientists (FRCS).

The FRCS program provides support for research supplements to clinical and translational scientists at the time of a caregiving crisis to: 1) advance clinical and translational research in an inclusive way, 2) enable recipients to repurpose their time so their research can continue, and 3) validate rather than reinforce stigma around caregiving in clinical and translational research.

Nine applicants will be selected to receive $100,000 (funds must be used by Sept. 30, 2023).

The deadline to apply is Feb. 28, 2022. More detailed information and eligibility requirements can be found in Competition Space.

A virtual Town Hall with a panel of senior faculty will be held to answer any questions potential applicants may have about the grant.
