U-M’s IPE Awards for Innovation and Excellence, now in their fourth year, honor students and faculty who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, scholarship and/or leadership with regard to implementing and/or developing innovative, effective and sustainable interprofessional education (IPE) or interprofessional practice (IPP) across the U-M health sciences schools.

All faculty, staff and students in U-M health science schools and colleges (Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint campuses) are eligible for nomination by colleagues and collaborators. Self-nominations will also be accepted.

The nomination deadline is March 2 at noon.

Awards will be presented in a short ceremony at the 2022 Health Professions Education Day on April 5. Faculty awardees receive $1,000; student awardees receive $500; if the winner is a team, the award will be split accordingly. (Award distribution may be delayed due to the current spending restrictions.)
