All Michigan Medicine team members to receive gift of gratitude
It’s been almost two years since the beginning of the pandemic in Michigan, and through that time, faculty, staff and learners have navigated various waves of COVID-19, along with ever-changing policies, protocols and practices.
Those efforts have not gone unnoticed by the organization’s leadership team.
“Our teamwork and collaborations [have] empowered us to meet the many challenges of this pandemic, and our resilience and compassion for each other gave us the strength to endure it into its second year, and now a fourth surge,” said Marschall S. Runge, M.D., Ph.D., CEO of Michigan Medicine.
To show appreciation, all members of the Michigan Medicine community are being offered a gift — your choice of a Michigan Medicine-branded long-sleeved shirt or crew, hooded or zip-up sweatshirt.
The gift corresponds with National Thank You Month, celebrated every January.
“This is just one small way we can express our gratitude for all that our teams do every day,” said Deloris Hunt, chief human resources officer. “Your work makes a difference — to our patients, to our community and to each other.”
