As part of the rollout of Microsoft 365 (M365), a lightweight version of the Visio web app is now available to everyone in Michigan Medicine.

This version offers core Visio functionalities — enabling users to choose from a blank canvas, or many popular diagram templates, including basic flowcharts and process diagrams — and to coauthor these diagrams with colleagues using rich collaboration features and seamless integration with other M365 tools.

How do I access Visio 365?

Go to www.office.com and sign in with your “@med.umich.edu” email address. Choose “Work or School Account,” and use your Michigan Medicine (Level-2) password. Then look for the Visio icon at left.

Visio 365 offers many of the features that most users will need to create, edit, and share professional diagrams. For those who need more, HITS will soon offer licenses for the “full” version. (Stay tuned for Michigan Medicine Headlines for details.)
