Update: ResponsiBLUE app
To support Michigan Medicine’s Mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy, the ResponsiBLUE app has been updated in order to reflect policy compliance in addition to symptom checking. Employees and visitors who show a Red X, beginning today, Nov. 1, will not be allowed to enter any Michigan Medicine facility.
A Red X would result if:
- You have not documented your full vaccination on Wolverine Access,
- You are in the process of becoming fully vaccinated and have not been compliant with weekly testing, or
- You have received a vaccination postponement or medical or religious exemption but have not been complaint with weekly testing.
If you receive a Red X in ResponsiBLUE, you should contact your immediate supervisor. If non-compliance is due to missed weekly testing, you will need to schedule an appointment and test at a CSTP site in order to enable a Green check before returning to work. Once tested, it can take up to three hours to update ResponsiBLUE.
As a reminder, all Michigan Medicine employees must be fully vaccinated, or have an approved exemption or declination, by today, Nov. 1. This includes all those who were denied an exemption, or only completed one dose of the two-dose vaccine series. Disciplinary steps will be taken for those non-compliant with the vaccine mandate.
COVID-19 vaccines are offered by Occupational Health Services and appointments can be scheduled on the OHS website. Additionally, the Washtenaw County Health Department is offering expanded clinics in the days and weeks ahead. Refer to our Finding Vaccines page for tips on how to find a vaccine appointment in select areas. As a reminder, the third booster shot is not required by the mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy.
Bargained for employees will continue to see a Red X only when they report COVID-19 exposure or symptoms of illness.
