Feel better and more focused in five minutes a day

Do you want to stress less, have more focus, and generally feel better? Then you should give daily mindfulness a try. And the new Take 5 to Focus program is a simple way to start.

“We know that taking even very short breaks from your busy day can have a positive impact on your overall health,” said Kelcey Stratton, resiliency and well-being services program manager at Michigan Medicine. “The key is to make this a part of your daily routine, because your positive experiences can build over time.”  

Take 5 to Focus registration is open now on the MHealthy Portal, powered by Asset Health. It offers an easy and sustainable way for you to practice mindfulness and meditation by taking short breaks for a mindfulness or meditation video each day. Simply watch one short video (about 5 minutes) each day for four weeks, from Nov. 15 through Dec. 12.

Progress is tracked by the MHealthy portal automatically, so you can focus your effort on the practice of mindfulness and meditation. 

“Whether you already have a regular mindfulness routine or if you are seeking new ways to support your well-being, the program offers brief yet meaningful practices to help you pause and refocus,” adds Stratton. “We encourage everyone to take a few minutes everyday to make space for rest and calm.”
