All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to the 2021 virtual Palliative Care Conference sponsored by Michigan Medicine and the U-M School of Nursing.
This year’s conference theme is “Navigating Through Ethical Dilemmas in Palliative Care.”
It will be held on Nov. 17 from 8 a.m. until noon.
Following the conference, attendees will be able to:
- Describe ethical principles used in clinical practice
- Identify potential unsafe low-evidence therapies and implications of use
- Discuss decision-making obligations during resuscitation
- Recognize strategies to use when medical decision-making and family goals are not aligned
